Recognize the continent boundaries and the lat-long grid. This is a map of earth. The colors are the geoid, the deflection of the land surface into space. The geoid consists of four bulges and six linear troughs forming a tetrahedron. These features align with documented surface tectonics. This is the first map to depict the tetrahedral form of earth tectonics and illustrates the motion of the mantle, between 600 and 2500 miles deep. IGPK are just the names of islands that define the tetrahedron. This conceptual cross-section is the mid-line of the map above.
